Minas Gerais won in 2006, a great space for exhibitions and events. The Regional Convention and Exhibition of the Zona da Mata - Expominas Juiz de Fora, inaugurated by the State Government and Codemig, investments totaled R$ 47.6 million.

With the start of its activities, the Expominas positions Juiz de Fora and region of influence as a major hub of business tourism and events of Minas Gerais in southeastern Brazil.

The works of Expominas Juiz de Fora began in 2002 with the execution of earthworks and the channeling of existing stream. Work resumed in August 2004 during the tenure of Governor Aecio Neves, which determined priority for completion.

A multipurpose area, equipped with complete infrastructure to receive exhibitions, fairs, congresses and conventions, erected on land of 1,352,249.03 Sq Ft. The area used for implementation of events is 161,460 Sq Ft and has a total area of 215.28 Sq Ft.

Its structure allows holding events of up to 13,000 people and enables the performance of up to six events simultaneously. And its strategic position in relation to major markets, especially places it to attract events of various dimensions of national and international significance.
